AC Milan Primavera won the game against Torino earlier today and thus secured their spot in the play-offs. After a slow first half, the Rossoneri got going and found the back of the net three times, now set to take on Lazio in the first round.

Prior to the game, Torino were just two points behind Ignazio Abate’s men and a win would have meant leapfrogging them. Fortunately, after a slow first half which didn’t have many chances, Milan got going and secured the three points.

Diego Sia opened the scoring in the 47th minute after stealing the ball from a Torino man, slotting it home with composure. It ended up being a very important goal as Milan needed that spark to get some sort of comfort.

Sure enough, Milan not only made it two but even three within just a couple of minutes, first through Clinton Nsiala and then through Bonomi. Two very different goals, but equally nice ones which put Abate’s men in a great situation.

Shortly after, Torino pulled one back as the Milan keeper Noah Raveyre spilt the ball in front of goal. The Rossoneri then managed to keep things at bay until the 85th minute when the home side scored again, sending all of their players into the box and making the most of a cross.

With 30 seconds left of the announced injury time, Torino managed to find the equaliser from the spot as Vittorio Magni committed a foul in the box. However, as Torino needed to win to leapfrog the Rossoneri, a spot in the play-offs was ultimately secured by Abate’s men even if it was a bit dramatic.

Milan will now take on Lazio in the first play-off round. Should they win, they will advance to the semi-final of the play-offs, hoping to make it all the way to the final.
