Peyton Manning’s Omaha Productions, ESPN agree on extension through 2034

ESPN and Peyton Manning will continue to be partners for a long time. On Wednesday, ESPN announced it has reached a long-term, multi-platform media rights extension with Manning’s Omaha Productions, extending the existing partnership into 2034.

The deal will see the continuation of the Emmy award-winning Monday Night Football with Peyton and Eli (ManningCast) and additional Omaha Productions content such as Peyton’s Places and Eli’s Places. The new agreement follows an original three-year agreement in 2021 and an extension in 2022.

Monday Night Football with Peyton and Eli will continue to entertain football fans as an alternate broadcast of Monday Night Football. On the broadcast, the Manning brothers give their thoughts on the game while interviewing some of the biggest names in sports and entertainment. The series won the Sports Emmy for Outstanding Live Series in 2022, and Peyton Manning earned the Sports Emmy for Outstanding Personality/Sports Event Analyst in 2023.

Peyton and Eli Manning talk success of ‘ManningCast’

While appearing on The Pat McAfee Show last year, Manning explained how the series achieved early success during the season. “The plan was sort of the same philosophy,” Manning said, per Awful Announcing. “We started out with four guests in year one, we went to three last year. We tried to have three this past season and we’ve had some late cancelations, we’ve only had two guests, so it’s given more time for Eli to make fun of me. It’s certainly given us maybe a little more time to talk some football, so maybe that’s something we’ve kind of stumbled on to. But it’s been fun.”

In an interview with PopCulture.com last year, Eli Manning explained why he perfers doing Monday Night Football with Peyton and Eli instead of traditional broadcasting. “It’s been a lot of fun. It’s been good where we get to do it from my basement,” Manning said. “So that was really one of the main reasons I didn’t want to get into regular broadcasting because you’d be gone every weekend and I wanted to be around my kids and wanted to be around their activities. And so it keeps me home on Monday nights, keeps me home on the weekends and get to hang out with my brother.

“We talk a lot during the week of the weeks we have games and our preparation of watching film of what we see from certain defenses from certain players and then it is fun to go over that and then of course get to take some shots at each other.
